2011: 95. Someone Like You

"Scarlett Thomas has been my best friend for as long as I can remember."

Someone Like You, by Sarah Dessen

Here is the truth.  I read this book last May, and I barely remember it.  I looked it up on Amazon, to see what it was about - and it sort of jogged my memory (I vaugely remember the thing about her best friend getting pregnant and maybe something about overbearing parents?), but it isn't really fair to review a book I can't recall.  I guess you could say that was an indictment of the book, but not really.  I keep picking up Dessen books because I think I'm going to love them, and instead I would say that I enjoy them - but not really enough to keep revisiting the author.
