2008: 25. Hickory, Dickory, Death

Hercule Poirot frowned.

“Miss Lemon,” he said.

“Yes, M. Poirot?”

“There are three mistakes in this letter.”

His voice held incredulity.

Hickory, Dickory, Death, Agatha Christie

This is one of Christie’s attempts to write about drugs, which are never quite as good as her straight up murders (though there is murder here too), and so it falls a bit flat.  But it has Poirot, and there are a couple of murders and some good red herrings and a couple of cute romances, and a nice evil murderer. So, except for the sort of cheesy drug stuff, its like any other run of the mill Christie.  Not the best, and not the worse, just fine
