2008: 134. Reel Murder

“There are certain decisions you regret from the moment they are made.  By then, it is usually too late.”

Reel Murder, Marian Babson

Another Babson, this one about two old time movie stars who come to London from California to participate in a revival of some of their greatest hits.  Evangeline is the glamour girl, Trixie (our narrator) the one with pluck, and no sooner have the arrived then they are pulled into a chaotic swirling mess of murder!! (Dun - dun - dun!!!).  Again - the murders are treated sort of secondarily to the wacky characters and plots, but the characters and plots are fun enough that I can’t complain.  I loved Trixie and her spunk and gumption, and I heard this is actually the first of a series, so maybe I’ll go hunt down the sequels.  Dumbish? Yes, but super fun.
